![]() In FFX, you can fish for Yojimbo's Zanmato skill to one-shot bosses. The P3 Hero was the star of my party because he had just enough speed and luck to consistently lock down the boss, and enough physical strength to join the Myriad Arrows firing squad. Landing Panic status was pretty much a death sentence for enemies- even the superbosses are susceptible- you just have to stack Luck high enough on one of your characters. Myriad Arrows is a massive multi-hit physical attack with abysmal accuracy. Panic status makes enemies unable to dodge, and leaves them unable to do anything beyond normal physical attacks to random targets. Persona Q had the busted combo of Panic status + Myriad Arrows. If you get Sienna's speed high enough, she can get multiple hits off before the paralysis ticks down. Iajutsu is a physical attack that does massive damage to paralyzed targets. Paralysis has a chance of immobilizing the enemy, and it subsides after a set number of enemy turns. Speed stacking in Chained Echoes feels like cheating, especially if you use paralysis and Sienna's Iajutsu attack. ![]() I think that's too far it's practically a cheat but the aeons are reasonably powerful for a good amount of the content.įFXIII doesn't appear to have any real exploits (maybe death skill) but the sab/syn combination on the party was so satisfying and powerful when set up properly. The bravely games are full of exploits and OP builds but the game is also designed as if it expects you to exploit it. I like some of the gamebreakers in job system games because it requires some preparation and effort to obtain. I didn't finish this game but the character starts out broken and I can only laugh at how she must have been by the endgame. Not that it was difficult but it allowed me to focus on the story which is what is really good about the game.Īnother memorable example is Raquel from wild arms 4. I remember genuinely feeling relief at how easier the game was. I remember xenogears wasn't very fun until I broke it with the ether doublers. There are many gamebreakers out there I've embraced with open arms depending on the game.
